Overview
PixelParty counts guests based on the device used to access your event, not the number of visits or uploads. This approach ensures fair usage, accurate guest limits, and a smooth experience for everyone attending your event.
Guests are counted by device
When a guest accesses your PixelParty gallery for the first time鈥攅ither by scanning the QR code or opening the event link PixelParty recognises and remembers the device they used.
That same device can then be used to:
- View the event gallery
- Upload photos and videos
- Scan the QR code multiple times
- Return to the event as often as needed
As long as the guest continues using the same device, they will only be counted once, no matter how many times they visit or how many uploads they make.
What happens if a guest switches devices?
If the same person accesses your event using a different phone, tablet, or computer, PixelParty will count that as a new guest. This helps prevent misuse of upload limits and ensures guest counts remain accurate across events.
Why guest limits matter
Guest limits are in place to ensure:
- Reliable performance during uploads
- Fair usage across all events
- Consistent quality for hosts and guests
If your event approaches its guest limit, PixelParty will notify you and give you the option to upgrade your plan if needed.
