Terms of service

PixelParty® is a registered trademark of PIXELPARTY GROUP LTD (company number SC854567), registered in Scotland. PixelParty is referred to in these terms as "PixelParty", "we", "us" or "our".

By accessing or using PixelParty, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Description of service

PixelParty allows users to create private digital event galleries, share QR codes or links, and invite guests to upload and view photos, videos and messages. Use of the service is subject to these terms.

User responsibilities

By using PixelParty, you agree to:

  • Use the service only for lawful and respectful purposes
  • Not upload or share content that violates any laws or community standards
  • Respect the privacy and rights of others
  • Be responsible for the content uploaded to your event gallery by you or your guests

Hosts are responsible for managing, reviewing and moderating uploads to their galleries.

Content ownership

You retain full ownership of all content you upload.

By uploading content, you grant PixelParty a limited, non-exclusive, revocable licence to store, display and process that content solely to provide the service.

We will never sell, licence or use your photos for marketing without your explicit permission.

Image and content guidelines

To maintain a respectful experience for all users, PixelParty automatically scans uploads and may flag content that includes:

  • Nudity or sexually explicit material
  • Hate speech, discriminatory or offensive imagery
  • Violence, threats or graphic content
  • Harassment, bullying or abuse
  • Spam or commercial advertisements

Flagged content may be reviewed and removed. Repeated or severe violations may result in event removal or account suspension. If you believe content was removed in error, contact us at [email protected] and we will review it fairly.

Privacy and data

Your use of PixelParty is also governed by our privacy policy, which explains what data we collect, how it is stored and protected, how long it is retained, and your rights under applicable data protection laws.

Access and availability

Unless otherwise stated:

  • Guests may upload for twelve months from your selected event date, and the gallery remains accessible to download for a further twelve months
  • You may close or delete your gallery at any time

You are responsible for downloading your media before your gallery expires.

Downloading content

Hosts may export their full album, photos and videos, at any time during the active access period. Downloads contain the original-quality files uploaded by guests, where device support is available.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the service if you violate these terms or use the service in a way that is harmful, abusive, illegal, or risks the safety of others.

Limitation of liability

PixelParty is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. PIXELPARTY GROUP LTD is not liable for:

  • Loss or deletion of uploaded content
  • Service interruptions or technical issues
  • Device, network or third-party failures
  • Any damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the service

You use PixelParty at your own risk.

Refund policy

PixelParty provides digital services. By purchasing and activating an event, you acknowledge that the service has been fully initiated and delivered.

A full refund is available only if the event has not been activated. Once an event has been activated, no refunds will be issued.

Activation includes, but is not limited to, creation and configuration of the event gallery, allocation of storage and system resources, and preparation and hosting of event infrastructure. These processes are initiated immediately upon activation and incur irreversible costs.

By activating your event, you expressly agree to waive any right to cancellation or refund.

Dispute resolution

If you experience a problem, please contact us directly at [email protected]. We will work with you to resolve any disputes in good faith.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Scotland, United Kingdom. Any disputes will be handled exclusively in the courts of Scotland.
