Fair, and not something we can fix. Uploads go over whatever connection the guest has. In a basement with no signal, photographs queue rather than fail, but the live slideshow will not update until something gets through. Ask the venue before the day.
What the reviews actually say
You can create an event and use the whole thing before paying anything. The first 10 uploads are free, it does not ask for a card, and every feature is switched on: the album, the disposable camera, the audio guestbook and the live slideshow.
That is a more useful test than a testimonial, and it is the reason this page has no form asking for your email. The same logic applied to anybody selling this, us included, is how to check a provider in two minutes.

How many reviews does PixelParty have?
More than 400 on Google, averaging 4.9. The link on this page goes to the Google listing rather than to a page we control, so the count and the average are whatever they are on the day you look.
Are these reviews real?
Yes, and they are quoted as written. We have not corrected spelling and we have not left out the ones that raise a problem: the section on what people say is missing is on this page for that reason. If you want to know who is behind it, about PixelParty has the company registration and a video of the person who built it.
What do people most often say?
Two things, consistently. That guests worked it out without being told, including older guests, and that the photographs the professional photographer did not get are the ones worth having. Both are the point of the product.
What do people complain about?
Venue signal, mostly, which is a real constraint rather than a bug: uploads use the guest’s own connection. The other two that came up have both been fixed since: video uploads, and saving a photograph straight to your phone rather than downloading the whole album. All three are quoted in full further up this page.
