QR Code for Wedding Photos & Videos

One QR code on your table cards, your order of service or a sign by the door. Guests scan it and upload photos, videos and voice messages straight from their own phone browser, with no app to download and no account to create. Everything lands in one private wedding album, and the full quality originals are yours to keep.

A PixelParty QR card in the Blush design: the couple's names, the
date, a scannable code and the words Scan to add your photos.

emoji reactions and an Add photos button.

How to collect wedding photos with a QR code

Three steps. The first takes under a minute.

Every step in full

  1. Four PixelParty album designs, each with a different layout and
colour: a full-bleed cover, a cover above the title, a polaroid
                    frame and a circular crop.

    Create your album

Add your names and a cover photo. Your QR code and private link are generated straight away.

Six colours, six fonts, six layouts

  2. A printable PixelParty QR card with the couple's names, the
                    date and a scannable code.

    Display the code

On your welcome sign, table cards, menus or the screen during the reception. You can send the link ahead of the day too.

    Eight card designs, printable

  3. Guest photos from a real wedding album: the dance floor, the
                    speeches and the ceremony.

    Relive the day

Every photo and video your guests uploaded, in one album, ready to browse, share and download in full quality.

The guest experience

What your guests actually see

Four screens, start to finish. No install, no sign-up, no password: they scan and they are here.

Open the live guest album , opens in a new tab
The screen a guest lands on: the event name, the date, a cover photo, and buttons to share their moments or view the gallery. The album filling with guest photos, with an Add photos button. The disposable camera viewfinder with Snapchat lenses along the bottom. A voicemail being recorded, captioned Calling Our Wedding Day.

That is the whole setup. It takes about two minutes.

What is a QR code for wedding photos?

A QR code for wedding photos is a code you print or display at your wedding that opens a private upload page when a guest scans it with their phone. Guests point their phone camera at the code, the page opens in their browser, and they upload the photos and videos they have taken. Everything collects in one album that belongs to you.

There is nothing for guests to install and nothing to sign up to, which is why people who would never download an app still use it. It replaces the three things couples usually try instead.

Try the live demo , opens in a new tab

What it replaces

  • A wedding hashtag A public feed you do not control, and you still hunt for your own photos.
  • A shared folder link Guests need an account. Half never get past the sign-in screen.
  • The group chat Compressed, out of order, split across four threads.
One shared album Full quality, private, and yours to download whenever you want it.

One album, every angle of the day

Photos arrive as they are taken and sit together in one private gallery, not scattered across forty phones.

A PixelParty wedding album: a grid of guest photos, several
carrying emoji reactions, with tabs for the whole album and for
                  the reception.
  • Reactions and comments

Guests react and leave notes on individual photos, so the album reads like the day rather than a folder of files.

  • Albums for parts of the day

Separate the ceremony from the reception, or leave everything in one place. Your choice, changeable afterwards.

  • Full quality, downloadable

Originals at the resolution they were shot, downloadable in one go whenever you want them.

Put it on the big screen

Photos appear on a projector or TV as guests upload them. It is the single best way to get more people scanning the code, because the code stays on screen beside the photos.

The PixelParty live slideshow running on a screen: a guest photo
of the bride, with the event QR code and the words Scan to
                  upload photos in the corner.
Every photo carries the code, so the slideshow keeps inviting the next upload.

Wedding QR code signs and printable templates

Your QR code for wedding photos comes ready to print, in the sizes people actually use at a wedding. No design work and nothing to lay out yourself.

A printable PixelParty QR card: the couple's names, the date, the
code, and the words Scan to add your photos.
  • Four layouts

Minimal for the code and the name alone, Poster for reading across a room, Table tent that folds and stands up, and Photo with your cover picture behind the code.

  • Real paper sizes

A6 table cards, four to an A4 sheet. A5 for table tents. A4 for a wall poster. Plus 4 by 6 inches for photo frames and US Letter.

  • Sized for the distance

A QR code can be scanned from around ten times its own width, so the poster uses a much larger code than the table card.

Exported as PDF at 300dpi, so it prints at the size it says on whatever paper you load.

Can you create a wedding photo QR code for free?

Yes, and it is worth knowing exactly what you get and what you give up, because for some weddings the free route is genuinely enough.

The free way

Free

A shared album in Google Photos, its link pasted into any free QR generator. It works.

  • Guests need a Google account signed in to upload
  • One stream, with no way to separate the ceremony from the reception
  • No approval step, so whatever is uploaded is in
  • No slideshow, no printable card, no guest list
  • It counts against your own Google storage

Fine for a small guest list who are all comfortable with it, if you do not mind sorting the photos yourself afterwards.

PixelParty

£34.99 one-off

The same scan, built for a wedding rather than assembled from two tools that were not made for one.

  • No account and no app for guests, ever
  • Separate albums for parts of the day, if you want them
  • Approve uploads before they appear, and hide anything later
  • Live slideshow, printable QR cards, disposable camera, voicemails
  • Hosted for 12 months, and it does not touch your own Google storage

Worth it when the guest list is large, mixed in age, and you would rather not spend the week after your wedding chasing photos.

Privacy, and who can see your wedding pictures

The album behind your QR code for wedding photos stays private and under your control. Only people you give access to can open it, you decide what appears in it, and you can download your photos whenever you like.

  • Only people you give access

The album opens from your QR code or your private link. There is no public listing and nothing to search for.

  • Not indexed by search engines

Guest albums carry no-index instructions, so they do not turn up in Google.

  • You approve what appears

Turn on approval and nothing shows until you have seen it. Hide anything later, at any point.

  • Download your originals

Full resolution, downloadable in one go whenever you like. The album is not the only copy unless you want it to be.

  • Yours after the day

The album stays open for 12 months on Classic and 24 on Plus, so there is no rush to save everything the week after your wedding.

Private by default, and the originals stay yours.

What couples say

4.9 average from 400+ Google reviews

  • We now have hundreds of pictures of our wedding and I feel like I'm seeing it all through everyone else's eyes. So many great candids and fun videos.

    Lisa Moloney
  • We used you for our wedding in July and it was so easy to use and easy for our guests to use as well. They loved the idea of it, and then to get the photos after was so easy.

    Hayley O'Sullivan
  • Really great service, quick and simple setup. Guests loved it too. We also opted for the slideshow option and displayed it on a screen.

Questions, answered

How do I make a QR code for guests to upload wedding photos?

Create your wedding album and your QR code for wedding photos is generated instantly. Print it, share it digitally, or put it on signage. Guests scan it and upload. There is no app to download and nothing for them to sign up to.

Where should I display the QR code at my wedding?

The placements that collect the most photos are welcome signage, reception table cards, the guestbook table, bar and food menus, ceremony programmes, and the slideshow screen during the evening. The more visible the code, the more guest photos you get.

Do guests need an app or an account?

No. Guests scan the code with their phone camera, the upload page opens in their browser, and they choose photos and tap upload. There is no download, no account, no username and no password.

Can guests upload videos as well as photos?

Yes. Photos and videos both upload at their original quality and go straight into your album.

Will guests actually use it?

They do, because there is nothing to install. Most couples collect far more guest photos than they expect, and they are candid ones the photographer was never going to get.

Can I use this alongside a professional photographer?

Yes, and it is what most couples do. It does not replace your photographer. It fills the gaps: the dance floor, the reactions, the quiet moments between the formal shots.

What if my venue has poor signal or no Wi-Fi?

Display the venue Wi-Fi password next to the QR code, or send the link to guests in a group chat before the day so they already have it. Uploading uses very little data.

How long is the wedding album available afterwards?

Your album stays available to view and download for 12 months on Classic, and you can export everything at any point in that time. Plus extends this to 24 months.

Can I remove or hide a photo?

Yes. You can approve uploads before they appear, and hide anything already in the album. The album is private and only people with your link or code can reach it.

How many photos can guests upload?

There is no limit on the number of photos or videos. Classic covers up to 500 guests; Plus removes the guest limit.

Can international guests use it?

Yes. It works on any phone with an internet connection, anywhere. Couples use it across the UK, United States, Canada, Australia, Ireland and New Zealand.

Ready to collect every photo from your day?

Create your album, print your code, and let your guests do the rest. Setting it up takes about a minute.
