Alternatives
Looking for a GUESTPIX alternative?
PixelParty does the same core job: a QR code that lets wedding guests upload photos and videos to a private gallery with no app and no signup, paid for once rather than by subscription.
Free to get started · One-time from £34.99 · No subscription
The difference worth understanding is the upload window. Read the small print on any provider, including this one, and check how long guests can keep uploading rather than only how long the gallery is hosted.
Everything this page says about GUESTPIX was read from their own website on 28 August 2026. Products change. Check theirs before you decide, and check ours too.

Which one should you actually pick?
The honest version. If your situation is in the left column, use them.
Choose GUESTPIX if
- You want printable sign templates handed to you, all 180 of them
- You need digital invitations with RSVPs bundled in
- You have more than 500 guests and want the lower tier anyway
Choose PixelParty if
- You want 12 months of uploads on the entry plan rather than 3
- You want a disposable camera mode with filters
- You want to test with real uploads before paying
- You would rather buy from a UK company you can look up
What GUESTPIX does well
Worth knowing before you decide. For most couples the deciding factor is how little a guest has to do, which is where PixelParty is strongest.
Genuinely established
An Australian company with press coverage in Vogue Australia, Marie Claire and Cosmopolitan, stating 200,000+ couples across 100+ countries. This is not a website that appeared last month.
Templates, and a lot of them
180+ editable Canva templates for signs, table cards and take home cards. If you want your stationery handed to you, that is a real advantage.
Unlimited guests on every tier
Their packages state unlimited guests and unlimited co-hosts throughout, where PixelParty caps guests at 500 on the lower plan.
Invitations and RSVPs included
Their packages bundle a digital invite with RSVPs. PixelParty concentrates on the photo sharing instead.
Why couples pick PixelParty instead
The upload window on the entry plan
Their Classic package states a 3 month upload window with 12 month hosting. PixelParty's Classic gives 12 months to upload and download, and Plus gives 24.
A disposable camera with filters
Powered by Snapchat and built into the gallery. Their packages list a video slideshow and guestbook but not this.
Try it on a real event, free

UK company, UK support
PixelParty Group LTD is registered in Scotland, company number SC854567. You can look us up before you buy, which is exactly what we would tell you to do.
The real thing
What your guests will see
Three screens from a live PixelParty event.
1. Scan the code
Your event opens in the browser already on their phone. Nothing to install.
2. Choose what to share
Photos and video from the camera roll, the disposable camera, or a voice message.
3. It lands in your gallery
Everything in one place, with reactions, albums and full-resolution downloads.
Switching
How to move across without losing anything
Four steps, and the first one matters more than the other three put together.
Download what you already have
Whatever you are moving from, export your photos and videos at full resolution first and keep your own copy. Do this before you cancel anything.
Create your PixelParty event
Name it, pick a date, choose a look. You get a QR code and a short event link straight away, and you can get started for free.
Test it on one real person
Send them the code and watch them use it. Ten seconds of watching somebody else is worth an hour of reading feature lists.
Reprint before the deadline
Signs, place cards, orders of service. Get the new code onto the stationery while there is still time, not the week of the wedding.
Before you commit
Five things to check on any provider
Including us. These are the questions that separate products from websites, and they take about five minutes to answer.
- How long does the gallery stay open, and does that cover uploading as well as downloading? Some providers quote a hosting window that is longer than the window guests can actually upload in.
- Can you export everything at full resolution, as many times as you like? If the export is capped, compressed or one-time, the photos are not really yours.
- Do guests need an app or an account? Anything a guest has to install is a guest who does not upload. Test it on somebody before you print.
- Who is the registered company behind it? PixelParty is PIXELPARTY GROUP LTD, company number SC854567, on the UK register. Look up whoever else you are considering too.
- Can you reach a human before you buy? Send a question and time the reply. It is the most useful test available to you.

Questions
Frequently asked questions
Is PixelParty cheaper than GUESTPIX?
We are not going to quote their prices, because they load per currency on their own site and any figure we print here would be out of date the day they change it. Check both. What we will say plainly is that PixelParty is one-time and starts at £34.99, and that GUESTPIX also states it is one-time with no auto renewal.
Which has the longer upload window?
PixelParty, on the entry plan. Their Classic package states 3 months of uploads with 12 months of hosting. PixelParty's Classic gives 12 months for both, and Plus gives 24.
What else does GUESTPIX include?
Digital invitations with RSVPs, 180+ Canva sign templates, and unlimited guests on every package. If those are what your wedding needs most, they are a good product and worth a look. PixelParty puts its weight behind the photo collection: a longer upload window, the disposable camera and full-resolution exports.
Try it before you decide
Getting started is free and takes about two minutes. Put the code in front of one person and watch what happens.
