Event photo sharing with a QR code

Event photo sharing lets guests upload photos and videos from their own phones into one shared gallery, through a QR code or a private link, without anybody installing an app. PixelParty does it for weddings, parties, corporate events and anything else where a room full of people have better photographs than you do.

How it works

The same four steps whatever the occasion is.

1

Create the event

Name it, pick a date, choose a look. You get a QR code and a short link immediately.

2

Display the code

Print it for tables and entrances, put it on a slide, or send the link to everyone attending.

3

Guests scan and upload

The gallery opens in their browser. A first name, then photos and videos. No app, no account.

4

Everything lands in one place

Watch it arrive live, put it on a screen in the room, and download the lot afterwards.

The real thing

What a guest sees

Captured from a live event, not drawn.

The PixelParty guest page on a phone, showing a wedding cover photo and a Share Your Moments button

1. Scan the code

Your event opens in the browser already on their phone. Nothing to install.

The PixelParty upload menu showing Upload Photos, Disposable Camera and Leave a Voicemail

2. Choose what to share

Photos and video from the camera roll, the disposable camera, or a voice message.

3. It lands in your gallery

Everything in one place, with reactions, albums and full-resolution downloads.

Occasions

Events people use it for

The product does not change. Only the wording on the sign does.

Weddings

The busiest case, and the one the product was built around. Ceremony, breakfast and evening all in one gallery.

Birthdays and parties

Everyone has a phone out already. A code on the table turns that into an album you actually keep.

Corporate events

Conferences, away days, awards nights and launches, without asking attendees to install anything on a work phone.

Graduations and milestones

Families spread across a venue, all photographing the same ten minutes from different angles.

Reunions and anniversaries

The photographs are the entire point, and half of them are on somebody else's phone.

Memorials

A quiet, private place for people to contribute a photograph and a memory, with approval on if you want it.

Before you buy

What to check before you pick any event photo service

Five questions that separate the products from the websites. They work on us as well as on anyone else.

  • How long guests can upload for Not just how long the gallery is hosted. Some providers quote twelve months of hosting and three months of uploads, which are very different numbers and only one of them matters on the day.
  • Whether guests need an account Every account, install or password between a guest and an upload loses a share of them, and the ones you lose are the ones who never tell you.
  • Whether video is included or capped Video is where most services quietly cap or charge. At an event it is usually the best material you get.
  • What the export actually gives you Full resolution, unlimited, whenever you like. A capped or compressed export means the files are not really yours.
  • Who operates it A registered company with a number you can look up, not a brand name and a contact form.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

What is event photo sharing?

Event photo sharing lets guests upload photos and videos from their own phones into one shared event gallery, usually through a QR code or a private link, without every guest having to install an app. The host gets everything in one place instead of chasing people afterwards.

How does a QR code for event photos work?

You create an event and get a QR code and a short link. You print or display the code, a guest points their phone camera at it, the gallery opens in their browser, they type a first name and upload.

Does it work for events other than weddings?

Yes. Birthdays, parties, corporate events and conferences, graduations, reunions, anniversaries, christenings, fundraisers and memorials all work the same way. The only thing that changes is the wording on the sign.

How many guests can upload?

Up to 500 on Classic and unlimited on Plus. Uploads themselves are unlimited on both.

Can we show the photos on a screen during the event?

Yes. The live slideshow updates in real time and can be cast to a TV or projector, or opened as a link on a laptop.

Is there a free version?

You can get started for free and see the whole thing working before paying. Paid plans are a one-time payment with no subscription.

One code. Every photo from the day.
